Der ‘Schreiberling’ von Rev6 scheint sich Gedanken über die gestrigen Serverprobleme gemacht zu haben. Er hat dabei eine interessante Theorie aufgestellt, über ein Warteschleifen-Login-System für Silkroad Online! Indizien dafür gab es gestern und es wäre zu schön wenn es Realität werden würde.

Joymax is about to revive Silkroad.If this morning update is what we believe it is, Silkroad might start to become lively again. Joymax did failed to release version (1.162 and 1.163) of sro_client and did a rollback. But this update, if my belief is right, might be one of the long awaited queue system for the login. Which failed during it first test making that nobody could login and they decided to rollback to the old client and server.
Error happened right after the captcha which the only link we can think of would be that it tryed to send the user to a queue system which should then accept the user to login. But that new feature had a small bug or mis-configuration making the player to DC. While this is only a supposition, but no matter what… I would definitly love Joymax if such a feature is coming soon.
Either an update to prevent bot or a long awaited queue login system.Either are fine, but seriously, a queue login system would make silkroad a game which could be enjoyed finally by real user and not only by bot.- no more client crashing because the server full- no more NoDC client required- only 1 captcha to fill- can wait in line for hours but at least you have a spot to play
Nach der gestrigen Server Inspektion in Silkroad Online, bekam man erst nach einer Wartezeit den Imagecode eingeblendet, nachdem man seine Daten eingegeben hatte. Ein eindeutiges Anzeichen für ein Warteschleifensystem beim Login. Allerdings war dieses System anscheinend noch nicht ausgereift, denn viele User bekamen anstatt eines Imagescodes, ein Disconnect. Aus diesem Grund hat Joymax, laut Rev6, den Clienten von 1.163 wieder nachträglich auf 1.162 zurückgesetzt.
Die Einführung eines solchen Systems würde Silkroad Online tatsächlich einen großen Schritt nach vorne bringen, die Gründe dafür könnt ihr auf englisch im Zitat nachlesen.
Was ist ein Warteschleifen-Login-System?Ein Warteschleifen Login-System, ist ein Login-System indem sich jeder der sich einloggen will, einreihen muss. Es wird sozusagen jedem ein Ticket zugewiesen. Dadurch würde man (wenns ausgereift ist) angezeigt bekommen an welcher Stelle man gerade ist und man kann sich in etwa ausrechnen wie lange man noch warten muss um auf den Server zu kommen.
